In 2009, Solito Alimentos became a Child Friendly Company. We won this seal with great pride, working alongside Abrinq Foundation in search of the best for children and teenagers, and especially promoting health to children in institutions in the city of Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo.

The 10 commitments to be a Child Friendly Company:

Say no to child labor, not employing children under 16, except as apprentices and only from the age of 14

Respect the young worker, not employing people less than 18 years to work at night, dangerous or unhealthy activities

Alert your suppliers, through a contractual clause or other manners, that a proven child labor complaint can cause for disruption of the business relationship

Provide day care or daycare assistance for the children of the staff

Ensure that employees enroll their children under the age of 18 in school and make efforts to get all of them to attend school

Encourage and help pregnant women to perform prenatal care and counsel them on the importance of this measure

Encourage breastfeeding, enabling women employees to breastfeed their babies at least up to six months of age

Guide your employees to register their children's birth

Make social investment in children or teenagers compatible with the size of the company, as established by the Abrinq Foundation

Contribute to the Fund for Children and Teenagers' Rights with the equivalent of 1% of the income tax due, according to estimates of the company's taxable income for the year
